English · Hrvatski · Deutsch

These are the rules for playing in the Ude Ude Game Hub (play.udeude.com) and for Ude Ude accounts. They apply to everyone who plays here, as a guest or with an account: by playing, you accept them, and an account accepts them when it's created. They're short on purpose.

Who we are

The hub is run by Ude Ude Game Studio (udeude.com), in Croatia.

A person reads every message. Write in English, Croatian or German, the languages these terms are in; ask us for an earlier version if you need one.

Guests and accounts

Callsigns

Your callsign is how other players see you. Pick one that's yours: nothing offensive, hateful or illegal, and no pretending to be the studio, its staff or another player.

Play fair

Progress, rewards and saves

XP, levels, badges, leaderboard places and challenge rewards are for fun: they have no money value and can't be sold, traded or cashed out. We may rebalance them, and we may remove progress that came from a bug or from cheating. Saves have size limits (10 MB for a guest, 25 MB for an account), and a save over the limit isn't kept.

How we moderate

When you pick a callsign, a computer check refuses it if it contains a word on our list. Everything else is decided by a person on our team, based on a report or on something we notice ourselves, and kept in proportion to what happened:

Your account page tells you what we did, which rule it was about, why, whether a report started it, and until when.

Report something

If a callsign is illegal or breaks these rules, or someone cheats or harasses players, write to support@udeude.com with: the callsign, what's wrong and why, where and when you saw it, your name and email, and a line saying you believe your report is accurate and complete. We confirm that we got it, decide fairly, and tell you what we did and how to challenge it.

Think we got it wrong?

Write to support@udeude.com within six months of our decision, about a decision on your account or on your report. Where we can, someone who didn't make the first decision looks at it again, and we answer within 15 days with our reasons. You can also go to court, or complain to HAKOM, Croatia's coordinator for digital services (hakom.hr ↗), or to the coordinator where you live.

Our games, and other people's

Our games, their world, characters, art, music and code belong to Ude Ude Game Studio. You're welcome to play them, stream them and share links to them; please don't copy or resell them. Some games in the hub are made by other creators and come from their own sites (like itch.io): they belong to their makers, and those sites' own terms apply while you play them.

Memberships

Some games or extras may be open only to the team or to members, and your account page shows what yours includes. If we ever sell a membership, it comes with its own clear terms before anyone pays.

Games in development

Our games are works in progress: they change, they get new versions, and now and then something breaks. We work to keep your progress safe, but we can't promise the hub or a game will always be available or free of bugs. If we close a game or the hub, we announce it in the hub at least 30 days ahead where we can, so you can download your data.

Responsibility

We're responsible, as the law says, for harm we cause on purpose or through gross negligence, and for any injury to life, body or health. Nothing in these terms takes away the rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.

Changes to these terms

We change these terms only for a reason: new games or features, a change in the law, or keeping players safe. When they change, the date at the top changes, we say so in the hub before the change applies, and your account asks you to accept the new version the next time you sign in. If you don't agree, you can stop playing and delete your account.

Law and courts

Croatian law applies. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of your own country's consumer laws, and you can take a dispute to the courts where you live.
